HuuMy Organization (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Nông Sản Việt mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
Information the App does not require
The App does not require an account or sign-in. We do not intentionally ask you to provide a name, email address, phone number, home address, password, contacts, photos, or payment card details to use the App’s main features.
The current version does not display advertising, initialize Google Mobile Ads, or request App Tracking Transparency permission. The App does not include an App-owned user account system and does not upload a personal profile or learning or activity history to us.
Information stored on your device
The App may store the following information locally:
- language and display preferences;
- the weather place you selected;
- cached agricultural prices, market data, charts, news, and weather results; and
- temporary technical state needed to load and display content.
This local data remains on your device. You can clear the App’s local data from Settings, or remove the App using your device’s operating-system controls.
Device location
If you choose to use your current location for weather, the App requests location permission while the App is in use. This feature is optional: you can choose a place manually or deny or revoke permission in your device settings.
When current location is used, the App obtains latitude and longitude coordinates from the device and uses them to request a forecast and place information. Coordinates may be included in requests to the public weather and geocoding services used by the App, including Open-Meteo. The App does not maintain a location history or account profile.
Network requests and third-party data sources
The App retrieves public agricultural prices, market information, charts, news, and weather from the sources listed in its Data Sources screen. These services may receive normal technical information associated with an Internet request, such as an IP address, request time, device or network information, and the parameters needed to answer the request. Third-party services may retain technical request logs under their own policies. The App does not send advertising requests.
The App may open links to original articles or source websites in your browser. Those websites are not operated by us, and this Policy does not cover their content or privacy practices.
How information is used
- to display and refresh agricultural, market, news, and weather information;
- to remember your preferences and selected weather place;
- to provide cached results when a source is temporarily unavailable; and
- to maintain the reliability and security of the App.
The App does not sell personal information. We do not use the App’s local cache to create an advertising or user profile.
Retention and deletion
Local preferences and cached results remain until you clear local data, the App removes or replaces them as part of normal operation, or you uninstall the App. Third-party data sources may retain normal technical request logs under their own policies. For example, Open-Meteo’s free API privacy notice describes server logs that may include IP addresses and geographic coordinates for troubleshooting and states that individual logs are deleted after 90 days.
Security
The App uses secure network connections where available and keeps its local cache in the App’s private storage area. No Internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not require an account or upload a user profile, there is no App-owned account to delete.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the App’s data practices or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
